Built for Buyers Who Expect More

Veteran-owned. Mission-driven. Focused on savings, service, and supply chain performance that never quits.

Our Story

In 2002, at a storage unit in Franklin, Tennessee, ASE sold their first toner cartridge. In 2005, ASE Direct, Inc. was founded by CEO & Service-Disabled Veteran, Bo Clift. Bo is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an officer in the Army before being injured while serving. In December 2005, Bo, along with his brother, Jud Clift, founded the company. Jud is a veteran of the print and imaging industry having established multi-million dollar organizations.

17 years later, through strategic partnerships, organic growth and most importantly our customer loyalty, ASE has evolved into a multi-million-dollar federal & commercial imaging solutions VAR that fuels Fortune 1,000 enterprises, government, education and healthcare organizations across the United States and internationally.

ASE’s comprehensive selection of products and services spans all facets of the imaging industry from procurement, to managed services, parts, e-waste asset collection and recycling programs. Powered by our extensive global distribution and service provider network, ASE has an unrivaled reputation as the premier partner for imaging and printing solutions.

ASE’s unsurpassed value proposition is organized around our core business areas, which work together to craft solutions for a wide variety of business, government, education and healthcare organizations. ASE’s core business areas are aligned with the current and future needs of our customers and address existing enterprise-wide procurement challenges in key areas – such as cost reduction, management control, standardization, distribution and technology solutions – that are critical to operate more effectively and lower costs.
